Dr. Drew to Speak on Young Obama's Marxist Socialist Ideology at Fundraiser for OC Republican John Webb

As you may know, John Webb is a Republican candidate for California’s 45th congressional district.  I'm very honored that he has decided to feature my take on young Obama's ties to Marxist socialist ideology at his upcoming fundraising event in nearby Laguna Hills, CA.

The title of my speech will be “Have You Ever Wondered About President Obama’s Ideological Beliefs While Attending Occidental College?”

As a graduate of Occidental College and a former Marxist who met the young Obama, I think I can offer unusually clear and compelling insight into President Obama's ideological ties to the Marxist socialist left and help clarify where Obama wants to lead our nation if he is re-elected in 2012.  My college ex-girlfriend was co-president of the Democrat Socialist Alliance while young Obama was a sophomore at Occidental College.  She was one of the three featured speakers at the famous anti-apartheid event at Occidental College in Feburary 1981 where Obama made a brief appearance in a skit.  One of the other speakers was Obama's college roommate, the admitted Marxist socialist, Hasan Chandoo.  I can verify that both Obama and Chandoo were ardent Marxists when I hung out with them and debated the finer points of Marxist theory.

This crucial fundraising event will take place at 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012.  I'll be speaking at the Laguna Hills Community Center, Heritage Room “C” 25555 Alicia Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA.

The pricing for this event seems very reasonable to me.  If you RSVP before February 10 the tickets are $25 for individuals and $35 for couples.  If you RSVP on or after February 10 the price moves up to $40 for individuals and $50 for couples.

To get your tickets to this first ever fundraising event for John Webb, you can make a donation online at http://www.johnwebb2012.net/ or purchase your tickets at the door.  (If you purchase your ticket online, they will ask you to present your John Webb for Congress donation receipt at the door for entry.)

As you would expect, contributions to John Webb for Congress are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Corporate contributions are prohibited. Contributions from foreign nationals are not permitted. Federal law requires them to use their best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer for each individual whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.

Dr. Drew Discovers The Wonders of Bizz Click, LLP - Premier Pay for Click Agency

I've been very impressed with the power of Internet advertising over the last few years.  It is more focused, more measurable, and more profitable than older forms of advertising.  One of the best books I've read on the topic is Timothy Ferris's book, The Four Hour Work Week.  My goal, by the way, is to eventually use pay per click technology to buy us one of the beach homes featured in this YouTube video.

Along these lines, I'm pleased to have discovered BizzClick LLP, a key pay per click agency.

One of the things I like the best about them is that they have a professional 24/7 support team, personal managers for each client, who offer their clients a variety of tools for the creation of and advertising campaign. If you are an advertiser, I recommend you click here.  On the otherhand, if you are a publisher, I recommend you click here.

BizzClick LLP also offers one of the fastest XML feeds in industry.
They have their own FiSoAp traffic ranking system that helps their clients to get traffic sources that fit their needs - one of the keys to making pay per click advertising successful according to authors like Ferris.

Dr. Drew Discovers the Educational Bounty of Fast Forward Academy - Your On-line Learning Solution

I became a committed fan of on-line education in 2002 when I started working as an assistant professor in the School of Management at Hope International University (HIU).  I remember being impressed with the way a small graduate school like Hope could quickly compete with the best in the business simply by taking advantage of the power and possibility of on-line education.  In the picture below, I'm standing in front of the first Carnegie Library.  I share Carnegie's interest in democratizing access to education.

Accordingly, I was pleased to learn about the services provided by Fast Forward Academy.  I looked through their website and discovered that they have established themselves as a proven leader in providing companies (and individuals) with the on-line tools to help them manage their professional continuing education needs, especially in the fields of taxation, securities and insurance.

I have a friend, right now, who is looking forward to becoming an enrolled agent (EA) and eager to learn how to get started as a registered tax preparer.  She would benefit from their enrolled agent ethics course or their enrolled agent continuing education courses which exceed national standards. Fast Forward Academy provides a quick and effective way of meeting both of these goals through their enrolled agent on-line programs.

As you get to know them, I think you will come to see that they picked the name Fast Forward Academy on purpose to reflect their vital mission – to help students and professionals accomplish more in less time. Along these lines, they will provide you with up-to-date products that give you the most useful and efficient exam prep material.  With their assistance you will, indeed, "Learn Fast and Pass."

Carney Asked Why Obama Won't Release College Transcripts

One of the most interesting aspects of the news, for me, is watching the Obama team dodge questions about Obama's past.  Just today, for example, Ed Henry of Fox News asked Obama spokesperson, Jay Carney, about Obama's college transcripts.  I was surprised at how quickly Carney dodged the question and simply referred the reporter to the Obama campaign.

The truth of the matter is that there must be bad new in those transcripts or they would have been released a long time ago.  I met the young Obama while he was a sophomore at Occidental College and long before he became a genius in the eyes of so many simply by getting himself elected as president of the Harvard Law Review.

The young Obama I met was a person of average intellect for the Occidental College campus.  He seemed more like the sort of guy who was interested in parties than in serious academic issues.  He was, as I have indicated before, a Marxist socialist anticipating a Communist style revolution in the U.S.  He did not, however, show any signs of superior intellectual potential.

As I have said for a long time now, Obama's charisma depends, in part, on the perception that he is a genius.  As one of those who got to know how young Obama's mind worked, I can assure you that he was not, and never was a genius.

So Many

Post contributed by Hilton Miranda

There are so many texas electricity providers it’s hard to know who to choose. I spent a long time looking for the perfect house so it only makes sense that I would want the perfect energy plan to go in it so why would I pick something quickly without doing my research? My friends seem to think I’m way too calculated when I make life decisions but if you ask me that’s the way to really make sure you know what you’re doing at any given time. I think there’s something to be said for having plans and goals and following through and that’s definitely what I want to do with this house, you know? I wish I was more of a contractor or even that I KNEW a contractor but I sure don’t – I’ve got to wing all of this because I don’t know what I’m doing until I’ve tried it. It’s fun for me to learn as I go though and that’s how things work for me when I’m being challenged.

Dr. Drew: After All This Time Still Enamored with Lockers

I was pleased to read about a company that focuses on lockers today. The company is called lockerixchange (pronounced Locker Exchange).  According to their website, they are dedicated to bringing a wide selection of residential and commercial lockers (including employee lockers) to the internet.

It is about time.  I have always been enamored with school lockers.  I still remember the excitement I felt when I was issued my own locker with my own code at Placerita Junior High School back in the fall of 1970.  It felt good to know that I had my own little bit of real estate on the campus to call my own. I felt this way about school lockers all the way to my senior year at William S. Hart High School in Santa Clarita, CA.

Even today, I feel better using a locker at a spa, golf course or fitness facility.  I never stopped being impressed with the value and utility of lockers.

Of course, the folks at lockerixchange have lockers for sale.  They also have the contacts needed to help you whether you are a homeowner trying to keep your kids away from your tools and supplies or the principle of a student facility looking to replace your existing lockers.  They will provide you with all the product knowledge and service needed to find a fully customized solution for you.
